Knowledge Exchange Survey on Training and Skills in RDM

In today’s changing research environment, there is a need for postgraduate students, researchers and research support staff to increase their data management and data sharing skills.

Knowledge Exchange has created a survey addressing providers of research data management training and / or education materials in the 5 Knowledge Exchange partner countries (NL, FIN, DK, GER, UK):

  • The aim of the survey is to collect information on current practice around RDM training to provide an overview of the RDM training landscape in the five KE partner countries.
  • The questions address target groups for training; types of data; method of training and experiences & lessons learned; The results of the survey will be analysed and presented at a workshop and will feed into a report summarising approaches, lessons learned and challenges around research data management training. The report will be published on the Knowledge Exchange website.
